There are two powerful engines available for the 2022 Jeep Gladiator, one uses gasoline, and the other is diesel-powered. The standard engine is the gasoline engine, and it's a 3.6-liter V6 engine that generates 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. The optional engine is a diesel-powered and turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that pumps out 260 horsepower and a spectacular 442 lb-ft of torque which exclusively gets the eight-speed automatic transmission. These engines are made even better thanks to the standard 5-foot bed and four-wheel-drive. In addition, the Gladiator has some spectacular towing and hauling capability as it can pull as much as 7,650 pounds with a payload capacity of 1,700 pounds, which is the best in the class.

There are five spectacular trim levels you can get with the Gladiator, and no matter which one you go with, you are assured a ton of outstanding features. The Sport trim is the base trim, and it comes with cruise control, a manually adjustable tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, an eight-speaker audio system, and a 5-inch central display with voice control capability. The Sport also has a soft folding top, removable doors, and a fold-down front windshield. You can get a Willy's or Sport S variant, which adds more design features. Next up is the Overland, standard with automatic headlights, power windows, heated power mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 7-inch central display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you want to go far into the wilderness, the Rubicon is your best bet as it has several fun off-road systems such as a 4.10 rear axle ratio, 33-inch all-terrain tires, fenders with increased clearance, FOX shock absorbers, locking front and rear differentials, and body-protecting rock rails and skid plates. Are you going into more desert terrain? The Mojave might be for you as it has a reinforced frame, FOX internal bypass shock absorbers, and Desert Rated badge.

Quite a bit! Jeep has always made your safety a top priority, so you will always get all the latest safety systems no matter which vehicle you go with. There is an available Blind-Spot Monitoring system with Rear-Cross Path Detection, which will monitor the areas around and behind the Gladiator so you can make safer lane changes and when you back up. There is also an Adaptive Cruise Control system that will allow you to maintain a pre-set distance between the Gladiator and the vehicle in front of it. Finally, the Gladiator helps you park the truck a little easier with the Rear Park Assist System with sonars located in the rear bumper, which will detect objects behind you as you throw the truck into reverse!
