Standard Features for the 2023 Dodge Charger Scat Pack
The Charger Scat Pack offers drivers a wide range of standard features to expand the model's style, performance, and comfort. The Scat Pack's exterior features a functional hood scoop, 20-by-9-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights, LED daytime running lights, performance all-season tires, '392' badges on the front fenders, LED taillights, and Scat Pack badging on the grille and trunk lid. The interior of the Scat Pack gives drivers a feeling of control with a driver-centric layout and race-inspired appointments. These include a flat-bottom steering wheel, aluminum pedals, SRT drive modes, SRT Performance Pages, and performance seat bolsters. Other standard interior features include dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a heated/leather-wrapped steering wheel, push-button ignition, and an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen. The Scat Pack is also ready for the track, offering an anti-slip rear differential, Line Lock, Launch Assist, Launch Control, and four-piston Brembo high-performance brakes.
What Engine Comes with the 2023 Charger Scat Pack?
The exciting performance of the 2023 Dodge Charger Scat Pack begins under the hood with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8. The engine takes up 392 cubic inches under the hood, hence, the '392' exterior badges. The HEMI engine lays down 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. This is up from the 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque of the 5.7L V8. The V8 is linked to a smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission powering a rear-wheel drive system. To give drivers more control over the Charger's performance, the Scat Pack has steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters for sequential shift control.
2023 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger
Dodge has stated that the current form of the Charger is coming to an end after the 2023 model year. To celebrate the end of an era, several special editions, which Dodge is calling the "Last Call" models, are available for the Charger lineup. Two Last Call editions are available for the Scat Pack trim level. First is the "Swinger." The theme of the 2023 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger is retro 1970s. It stands out in the lineup with an exclusive green-on-green exterior body color, retro 'Swinger' graphics on the rear fenders, Gold School 20-by-9-inch alloy wheels, gold exterior badging, and black, six-piston Brembo brakes. Inside, the black seats are contrasted by green accent stitching to continue the exterior theme. The dash features mod-grain wood-like aluminum accents. Additionally, the Swinger edition features all of the Scat Pack's features along with Dodge's Plus Group. The Plus Group adds HID headlights, 12-way power-adjustable front seats with memory settings, heated/ventilated font seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and more.
2023 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Super Bee
The second Last Call edition is the Super Bee, available for both the Scat Pack and Scat Pack Widebody. Introduced in 1971, the Super Bee provided muscle car enthusiasts with extraordinary performance for a four-year run. The Super Bee also features the Charger's Plus Group. It stands out with two body colors; either B5 Blue or Plum Crazy. Super Bee graphics can be found on the hood and both rear fenders. On the B5 Blue body color, the graphics are a lighter shade of blue. Meanwhile, on the Plum Crazy paint, the Graphics are white. Wheel and tire options include 20-by-9.5-inch knurled wheels with 275 drag radials (Scat Pack) or 18-by-11-inch drag wheels with 315 drag radials (Scat Pack Widebody). Other exterior features include red Brembo brakes, dual heat extractors, a functional hood scoop, black exhaust tips, a black Mopar hood pin kit, and adaptive damping suspension.
